The next DC Prevention and Medicaid Taskforce meeting is scheduled for August 26th, from 9:30am to 11:30am at IPHI. All who attend will be asked to participate in one of two workgroups: the CHW Workforce Development Work Group, which is focused on formulating recommendations on community health worker scope of practice, standards, core competencies, and credentialing, or the Financing Work Group, which is charged with formulating recommendations for a Medicaid State Plan Amendment related to financing preventive health services provided by non-licensed professionals.
